Il'Ithil's exquisite black metal structures may well stand in thought as a narrow passage throughout the likes of heavy snowfall and howling frostbitten winds. Being the brainchild of mastermind Blake Green (from the drone/doom ranks of Wolvserpent and newest project Lunar Temple), it is no secret his art is inclined to provoke all human senses, despite how every project marks a different side of its creator's mind. Thus said, Il'Ithil consist his personal gateway to storming black metal landscapes, where cold atmosphere meets straightforward rawness in forms that seem both alluring and abrasive in their ways.

-Arcane Angels press release-

The bulk of Wolfmachine’s self-titled debut comes in the form of the epic two-part “Wolfmachine,” a noisy, hypnotic half hour of harsh, second-wave inspired black metal with martial-sounding drum patterns and the occasional descent into chaotic riffing and even a passage of what sounds an awful lot like freak-out jazz saxophone. Wolfmachine makes for some deeply immersive listening – don’t be surprised if you get lost in it.
